CERN Have Found Glimpse Of Higgs Boson

I am really not on a sure footing with the Higgs Boson with my fail in O Level Physics at the age of 15, but scientists at CERN have confirmed they have caught a ‘glimpse’ of the elusive Higgs Boson .

According to CERN scientist Fabiola Gianotti : “We observe an excess of events around mass of about 126 GeV,” which according to the eggheads is an indication of the existence of the Higgs Boson .

As I understand it, and I maybe wrong, it is the missing link between the quantum world where nothing is solid and our seemingly material world .

The seminar in CERN does not say it is definitely the Higgs Boson but like a good scientist, Fabiola Gianotti hopes with more time ( and, no doubt more grants to fund their research ) they will be able to confirm its existence .

    • You may well be right but at the same time, but governments dont put their money into scientific research without looking for a come back .

I must admit your Gravater is an improvement of how I imagined you :-)
