I don’t think this really contributes to anything we don’t already know but looking at the Madonna “Like A Prayer” video, a few things jumped out at me which I thought may be of interest .
Firstly, we can see that Madonna has been playing Isis for a long time . The song was released in 1989 and I would suggest it has nothing to do with Jesus and everything to do with Isis, Horus and the rest of them . I’m sure someone, somewhere has dissected the Like a Prayer video so I won’t go into a lot of detail . Please note the black Jesus is probably meant to symbolise either Horus or Osiris .
Anyway, here are some images from the video which show the Isis and Ancient Egyptian symbology . There’s probably lots more but I’m a bit exhausted looking through hours of video .

Hopefully, you’re getting the significance of Isis and the importance of the Ancient Egyptian gods to 2012 .
Yet these symbols are, I think, not the most revealing scenes in the video . In the choir scene from 3-45 into the video, a back up singer appears who bears a striking resemblance to someone who readers of this blog will know very well .
But it is not only the similarity in looks (remove the whitening which Whitney had to endure) but also the voice . Listen to the video from 3.48 – 4.20 . Now, maybe its just me but I would say that is the voice of Whitney Houston .
I have tried to find out who the backing singer on the record was but can’t narrow it down exactly. The likenesses may be because the singer based herself on Whitney Houston and they shared a common Gospel background . I would like to hear from readers with their opinion .
With hindsight, after the Madonna Super Bowl and the death of Whitney Houston, I find the scene disturbing to say the least . Creepy, very creepy !
All of this is creepy. I still think its also creepy that Lady Gaga thanked Whitney Houston for inspiring her a year before.

I think it is Whitney singing which makes the whole thing even more ‘creepy’ than it was before . If not, I would say it is a deliberate reference to Whitney Houston and the video was shot in 1989 .
Re Lady Gaga – I think she is the replacement for Madonna . With their Italian Catholic New York upbringing and both of their left of centre behaviour, I would say they are twins which brings me back to Sirius but that’s for later .
I also think Madonna/Whitney are twinned in some way which I don’t quite understand .
Madonna/Whitney twinned? I am intrigued…Could it be because they are both born under the Leo zodiac? Let me know what you find.
Its just an idea in my head at the moment – M&W, the black and white symbology at the Super Bowl . I’ll have to look at their careers and see if anything pops out .

Well… I have to say, I had the ‘pleasure’ of a bit of a Madonna video revival last night with my lady on youtube… I would say that almost all her videos are full of symbology and especially her early ones. Also, as I have mentioned before, the lyrics are almost as if she is channelling someone or something… I may post some examples later.
Aren’t you the lucky one – here is a good example of the lyrics from Like A Prayer :
“I hear you call my name (Isis)
And it feels like home” (Sirius? – Star of Isis) .
I may expand a bit on this later . I’d like to see further lyrics, if you can – I suspect their ‘home’ is part of this .
