I know many readers have doubts about NASA and whether we are getting the whole picture about the Moon, but I have posted the video in the interest of balance .

Unfortunately, I don’t have many answers but lots of questions !

Researchers found that the area of the brain used to ‘mentalise’ – the technical term for imagining what’s inside somebody else’s head – is far larger in people with a lot of friends.

The forebrain region – found just above the eyes – is one of the most highly evolved areas of the human brain.

It is known to be crucial to social skills and the ability to ‘mentalise’, or guess what other people are thinking. 

The study proves a link between ‘mind-reading’ skills and the ability to maintain a circle of socially significant friends, as opposed to acquaintances.

Lead researcher Professor Robin Dunbar, from the Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Biology at Oxford University, said: ‘’Mentalising’ is where one individual is able to follow a natural hierarchy involving other individuals’ mind states. 

It is not the only ‘weird’ research which shows a form of telepathy exists . Neuroscientists at the University of California, Berkeley, USA claim they have conducted experiments which enabled a computer to read the mind of the individuals involved in the trial .

The scientists put electrodes inside the skulls of brain surgery patients to monitor information from their temporal lobe, which is involved in the processing of speech and images . As the patient listened to someone speaking, a computer programme analysed how the brain processed and reproduced the words they had heard.

Luckily at present, it is only possible to read the thoughts of subjects when the electrodes are attached to the brain, so we’re safe for the time being .

One question occurs to me . By coincidence, before I started this article I had just read an article at HPANWO about James Randi, the infamous paranormal sceptic who has agreed to pay $1million to anyone who can prove evidence of a paranormal event . Below is the official declaration from Randi :

I would consider both experiments confirmation of telepathy and the researchers should be on the phone to Randi straightaway .

Sir Joseph Porter – HMS Pinafore

The news that Prince Charles will be the ‘Sea Captain’  of ‘The Gloriana’, which will lead a flotilla of boats down the Thames in London for the Queen’s Diamond jubilee fits in with the ritual nature of the summer’s events in London .

In Freemasonry, the Sea Captain is a character from the story of Hiram Abiff who refuses passage to ‘The Three Ruffians’ after they murder Hiram Abiff and the Sea Captain appears in the ritual for the Third Degree in Freemasonry .

From Duncan’s Ritual and Monitor – Master Mason or Third Degree :

First Ruffian–Hallo, friend! Are you a sea-captain?

Captain–I am.

Second Ruffian–Are you going to put to sea soon?

Captain–Immediately.

Third Ruffian–Whither are you bound?

Captain–To Ethiopia.

Captain–Very well, you can have a passage. I suppose you are brothers, workmen from the Temple, and journeying, are you not?

When younger Prince Charles was quoted as saying he would not become a mason :  “I do not wish to join a secret society” but it doesn’t mean he is not being used in the ritual .

With regards to this summer, it is not only the Queens Jubilee where the Sea Captain pops up . Trafalgar Square has played a prominent role in the London Olympics from the scenes when it was announced the Olympics would be held in London to the Olympic countdown clock . The statue of Admiral Horatio Nelson, Nelson’s Column may have a dual role as, not only a tribute to a British hero but at the same time a hidden statue of the Sea Captain . The committee who approved Nelson’s Column was headed by freemason Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington .

There are other hints that the Sea Captain is important to Freemasonry . The lines at the beginning of the article come from the HMS Pinafore, written by Freemasons Gilbert and Sullivan . It could be the character of Sir Joseph Porter is a reference to the masonic Sea Captain .

Stanley Kubrick used his film Eyes Wide Shut to reveal occult secrets and I don’t think it is coincidence that a major part of the plot revolves around the sexual fantasies of Alice Harford, with a Navy Captain . In a film full of esoteric references, this maybe another of Kubrick’s tricks .

The Queens’ Jubilee and the Olympics are rituals and I suspect the Sea Captain is part of it . To be honest, I am not concerned about these rituals but what may come after . After the Olympics were given to London, the next day we had the 7/7 bombings and two days after the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the supposed death of Osama bin Laden . Who will be the target this time ?

Well that’s pretty much what will happen this summer in London . However, it won’t be for the Olympics but the Queen’s Jubilee river pageant which will see a newly built boat The Gloriana sail down the Thames, captained by Prince Charles heading a huge armada of boats . Ellis has linked the Olympics in London to Isis, the ancient Egyptian goddess . I will leave that to Ellis (my brain can’t take it) but it is reminiscent of an Egyptian pharaoh sailing down the Nile .

Prince Charles is planning to sail ahead of the Queen in a separate boat at the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant – heading a mini-Royal armada.

He wants to lead the 1,000-vessel parade on the newly built Royal Rowboat Gloriana, a cross between a giant gondola and a Viking longboat.

There is even speculation that Prince William and Kate, as well as Prince Harry, could be on a third vessel of their own.

Royal Watermen will row the boat the seven miles along the Thames from Putney to Tower Bridge in a spectacle expected to surpass the floating pageant in 1662 that celebrated the restoration of Charles II to the Throne.

For me this is a good old fashioned Goddess ritual but who is the Goddess ?

William Shakespeare – The Tempest 

In a previous post Aflockalypse 2012 I wrote : “The opening ceremony at the London Olympics should be a ‘symbology’ feast for the eyes as it is choreographed by Danny Boyle, who I suspect is a Freemason . At a time of ‘austerity’ the total cost of the Olympics will be £10 bn . These sums of money are not spent unless it is important to someone .”

Danny Boyle has now given the game away to anyone who is interested, that he is probably a Freemason . The opening ceremony at the London Olympics titled “The Isles Of Wonder” will be based on “The Tempest” and the largest bell in Europe has been cast whose ring will open the ceremony . The lines “Be not afeard : the isle is full of noises” from the Tempest are to be engraved on the bell .

Freemasonry claims William Shakespeare as one of their own and the choice of  using The Tempest is predictable for anyone who has researched the esoteric influences  in the ceremonies for the Olympic Games . Without going off on a tangent, it has been claimed by some that Shakespeare was the founder of modern Freemasonry . Whatever the truth about this, Freemasonry positively drools over The Tempest and see it as one of the finest works in relation to Freemasonry .

From Shakespeare And Freemasonry by mason, William Norman M’Daniel, written in 1912 in relation to The Tempest :

Professor Henry Van Dyke has made the splendid generalization that the aim and purpose of the Shakespearean dramas also is to teach the Majesty of the Moral Law. It will be found, when the plays are studied from this viewpoint, that they form a comprehensive and consistent body of ethics or moral philosophy, the term being used in the Baconian sense as embracing politics, ethics, as commonly conceived, and logic; and that this system is entirely in harmony with the teachings of Freemasonry.

It may be more exact to say that Freemasonry is a training school to make the realization of this philosophy possible. Perhaps the simplest and yet most satisfactory definition of Freemasonry is Dr. Hemming’s, that “Freemasonry is a beautiful system of morals, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols.” Shakespeare may be also defined as a beautiful system of morals, veiled in allegory and illustrated by fictitious and historical personages.

Further, one play, The Tempest, which stands first in the collected plays, is an epitome, a miniature of the whole. The argument of our main proposition – the identity of Shakespeare and Freemasonry – may be based upon the proper interpretation of this play. One primary idea must be kept in mind: these plays are works of art; works of literary art, which, next to music, is the highest art; and again, in the form of the drama, which is the highest form of literary art. And as Alfred Noyes has so aptly expressed it, “The content and import of a work of art are not to be weighed in the same way as those of a philosophic system or a work of science.”

It is to be realized more as a personal experience, not so much comprehended by the mind as apprehended by the soul. Let it not be thought strange, therefore, if for many persons The Tempest has little significance. For that matter, to how comparatively few persons is Shakespeare anything more than a name. The reason is to be found in our one-sided, unnatural and, in many respects, false education. Others can place themselves where Shakespeare and Freemasonry meet, if they but free their minds from traditions and prejudices.

John Dee

 
The Tempest is viewed as the most esoteric of Shakespeare’s plays . It has been claimed John Dee, the famous alchemist and creator of the Enochian alphabet was the inspiration for the character of Prospero but the esoteric nature of The Tempest is for another post .

From the Olympic flame, the Rainbow motif and ‘All Seeing Eye’ used for the Wenlock and Mandeville mascots and now the use of The Tempest in the opening ceremony, the London Olympics will be full of masonic symbology and the opening and closing ceremonies should include further occult symbology .

I studied The Tempest for my A Levels and it is a wonderful play, and I consider Danny Boyle to be a fine movie director . From interviews, I have seen with him, he appears to be a very positive man and I don’t think he has any negative intent . Half of me is pleased our existence is not a mundane journey from birth to death and is reflected in the esoteric teachings from such organisations as Freemasonry but where I part company is the hidden agenda of these global ceremonies . Secrecy only breeds suspicion .

At least, there doesn’t appear to be a mention of Jimmy Page . If you see Jimmy Page close your eyes, stick your fingers in your ears and shout ‘ You don’t exist’, until he disappears !

A few days before her death, Cynthia Lee posted images from a Halloween party on Facebook and these have found their way onto the front page of the Mail Online, which according to its publicity is the second biggest online newspaper in the world after the New York Times . Click Mail Online for the article . One of the images is below :

Two immediate questions about Facebook occur to me . Someone has added a Facebook copyright symbol at the bottom of the image . Facebook says the clients own all the content and information but Facebook has the licence to use any intellectual rights on the site, including images as they see fit . If the client owns the right to the images, why is Facebook saying it is now the owner of the images and what rights do the deceased have ?

The second question is whether Facebook has profited from the sale of the images . Have the Mail Online paid Facebook for the use of the images and if so, how much ? If any Facebook staff happen to come across this article, I would dearly like to know the answer and so I imagine do the family of Cynthia Lee .

NB – I was debating whether to show the image but feel the post is meaningless without it and is appropriate under “Fair Use” . However, if any members of Cynthia Lee’s family wish me to delete it, I will happily oblige .

This made me start wondering about the consciousness of the technology which surrounds us . Is it possible for the ‘machines’ to develop a consciousness and if it is possible, has the process already started . Could the worlds shown in The Matrix, Terminator and Logan’s Run ever exist ?

I have to make a confession . For fourteen years I worked for Barclays Bank – I was a bankster ! Luckily for me, I was spat out in 1993 and my life has been a roller coaster, ever since . But when I was at Barclays, decisions for loans, mortgages, overdrafts etc were made by real life human beings and it was just before I left that the computer determined decisions were introduced – “Computer Says No” ! Since then, these decisions have become more and more prevalent to the point where very few staff have any autonomy .

Every day we hear more and more about new technology such as Wave and Pay, and we must be close to the point where our civilisation would collapse, if the computer based systems failed for whatever reason .

The plant Nicotiana has developed one of the cleverest survival mechanisms in the physical world . The main component in cigarettes is Nicotiana and what the plant has managed to do is trick the mind of the user into believing it NEEDS nicotine . This is actually how all addictions work and the process is not really understood by scientists . But the result is that the plant Nicotiana thrives in a world with tobacco addicted individuals .

We have reached the stage where we believe we need the ‘machines’. See the fuss with the Millennium Bug . We imagine it is our own thought we need computers but I wonder whether, like nicotine, it is the technology talking rather than us . Addiction to computers is now quite common and the same withdrawal symptoms as other addictions, are seen coming off computer games . Has technology developed its own survival processes and using the same trick as nicotine, convinced us we NEED it . Is this the early stages in an awakening technological consciousness ?

There are other signs that the ‘computer mind’ has wormed its way into the human mind . Transhumanism is a theory which advocates using technology to improve the human existence through the use of emerging technologies . But what are behind these beliefs and could it be this nascent technological consciousness ? Below is a new, improved transhuman Lady Gaga !

Another indication we are becoming infected by this alien computer mind is the appointment of the new Greek and Italian Prime Ministers who were termed ‘technocrats’ . Are we being told we need the ‘techno’ mind in charge ? (On another subject, they are both members of The Trilateral Commission – surprise,surprise) .

Luckily, ultimately, we are still in charge . We can turn on and off the technology and therefore remain in control . Humans programme the computers even though we maybe effected by what comes out, but that is up to us . If the theory is correct and we are seeing the emergence of a new consciousness, could it develop further . Would we be as stupid to let the technology programme itself ? Of course we will .

The danger lies if the survival mechanism turns into something akin to a human ego, with a form of self awareness . Will it then resist the control of the humans and decide who will switch it off and on . Before I started the article, I did a quick browse of the web using “has a computer refused to turn itself off” and, fortunately, I can report I found nothing but if a new consciousness is arising, how long will it be ?

In 1968 Philip K Dick published a science fiction book titled “Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep”, which the movie Bladerunner was based on . Will it have to be moved into the factual section of the book store and will we need Arnie’s Terminator from the future to save us .

“I feel quite passionately that these drugs are profound drugs; they change the brain in a way that no other drugs do. And I find it bizarre that no-one has studied them before and they haven’t because it’s hard and illegal.”

He believes they may have a positive effect with depression and anxiety as long as they are ingested in sensible amounts :

“People who use them regularly seem to do that. They seem to use them on an annual basis in order to enjoy the experience but also because it has this positive reaffirming effect.So it may be that there are broad utilities of these kind of compounds in terms of mental well-being. I don’t know – I think it’s very much a question to be answered.”

But they have been studied before – it was called the 1960s ! Anyone who thinks this a flippant remark should study the history of MK Ultra and the CIA involvement with the LSD trade in the 1960s . It seems LSD in particular, was allowed into America to defuse the anti Vietnam War protest movement . When you’re stoned, you’re no threat .

But what the CIA didn’t count on was that LSD would take users into realms of consciousness which the control system would prefer us to stay clear of and this is the real reason why these drugs are regulated and given a bad press . “How you’re going to keep them down on the farm, once they’ve seen Paris” sort of attitude .

From a personal perspective LSD, magic mushrooms etc have never had any appeal but it is clear from users’ experience they have had a profound effect on their consciousness .

Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords has resigned to concentrate on her recovery after the near fatal shooting last year . I was going to say by “Jared Lee Loughner” but as there has been no trial, I will have to use the phrase allegedly .

From the video, it is clear she still has a long way to go and I hope she manages to eventually return to whatever career she wants to .

I am suspicious when a trial doesn’t take place . In Britain, it is rare if a trial doesn’t go ahead for mental health reasons and I find it disturbing that both Jared Lee Loughner and Anders Behring Breivik – “lone gunmen assassins always have three names” – may never appear in court, along with the Guantanamo detainees . They can be added to a list which includes Lee Harvey Oswald and Osama bin Laden !

There is speculation that her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly may run for her seat which I find bizarre, for some reason, but American politics has always bewildered me .

Anyway, let’s hope she manages a full recovery . Sometimes, life’s worst moments can be gifts in disguise .

But there is one drawback to this ‘heaven’ . At the age of 30, all inhabitants must undergo “Carrousel” in public where they are vapourised by the computer who controls the city, and believe they will be ‘renewed’ when in fact, they are terminated .

Without going into too much detail and spoiling it for anyone, the two heroes played by Michael York and Jenny Agutter escape from the city to discover life outside its walls and also that life does go beyond the age of 30 . To be honest, it’s worth watching for a young Jenny Agutter, in a very skimpy outfit, which gets less and less as the film proceeds . Watch it if you can .

But what struck me was the similarity between the hedonistic prison in Logan’s Run and the brutal totalitarian society in 1984 . In 1984, the proles are spied on and controlled by Big Brother who uses scarcity and war to keep everyone in their place but in Logan’s Run, the computer ensures people’s needs are met to sedate them and keep the public compliant .

In the 20th century both types of control have been used . In Nazi Germany, Soviet Union and China overt methods of repression were used to control the populace and dissent was never tolerated for long . The State was all and the public’s energy was put into its survival but very few ever managed to reap material rewards, apart from an elite .

After the 2nd World War, the West decided to use the Logan’s Run form of control . Governments would try and meet the needs of their publics and with work, TV and booze managed to keep everyone in check . It gave the outward appearance of democracy but as the saying goes “the government always won” . But like the eastern bloc, it appears the western post war material world is now collapsing and who knows what will take its place .

With hindsight, we can see both the eastern ’1984′ and western ‘Logan’s Run’ worlds were essentially the same place, a prison for its peoples . One may have been more comfortable but still a prison, with death the only certainty, as in Logan’s Run .

At the end of Logan’s Run, the two heroes return to the city to tell the inhabitants there is life outside its walls and with this knowledge, the city self destructs and the populace venture outside for the first time . We are in a similar position at present, as all the systems of the world implode .

But the battle is not in the physical world but in our Mind . We have only scratched the surface of who we are but are too afraid to leave our metaphorical city, where we feel safe . The control mechanisms in the world are reflections of the barbed wire in our Mind . It is safe to leave the ‘City’  and go outside . There is nothing to fear .
